How tournament points work
Every player or team competes in all five games. Each game contributes up to 10 points: 1st earns 10, 2nd 8, 3rd 6, then 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. Places 8–12 earn 1 point. Players tied within a game share the average of the points for the positions they occupy. For example, two players tied for first receive 9 each, with the next player third. An unfinished matching board scores 0.
In solo mode, points measure performance: notes or digits out of 10, squares or words out of 12, and matching efficiency (8 divided by your moves, multiplied by 10). Each game is worth up to 10, for a maximum of 50.
The first player rotates between rounds. Completed-round results survive a refresh; an interrupted game restarts that round. Leaving a game early discards that round’s unfinished results. Play on one device, pass the phone, and ask other players to look away during private viewing.
